Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger rules out bid for Callum Wilson

Arsene Wenger says Arsenal have no plans to bid for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Emirates after playing a pivotal role in Eddie Howe's side race to the Championship title.

The Englishman has scored over 20 goals in all competitions this season and reports had claimed Wenger was scouting the forward.

Everton and Newcastle have also been linked with a summer move for Wilson but, while they may still be in for him, Wenger has ruled Arsenal out of the running.

"No [we are not after him]. We look at all players but we are not especially in for Callum Wilson," said Wenger.
