Arsene Wenger says Mohamed Elneny deal ‘complicated’ but expects midfielder to complete Arsenal move

Arsene Wenger is hopeful Arsenal will complete the signing of Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny - but admits the deal is 'complicated'.

The Egypt international is on the cusp of moving to the Emirates after agreeing terms with the north London club.

However, work permit issues have held up the deal and led to concerns that the transfer may collapse.

Wenger has now admitted there are difficulties with the move, but he still believes it will get over the line.

"It's complicated a little bit but we work hard on it and I hope that in the next two, three days we will get to the end of it," said Wenger.
