Confirmed: Arsenal star Jack Wilshere out until the New Year

Jack Wilshere has 'no chance' of being fit before the end of December, according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The midfielder has been out of action since August after suffering a fractured leg days before the Community Shield final against Chelsea.

Reports this week had claimed the England international may make a comeback before the end of December after processing well with his rehabilitation.

However, Wenger has now denied that talk and instead Wilshere will not appear until January.

"If you ask me if he will be fit before the end of December, no chance," said Wenger.
