‘If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it’ – Mourinho hints at Chelsea deal for Man United flop

Jose Mourinho has suggested that Chelsea are ready to do a deal for Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian is set to leave Monaco again this summer after spending last season on loan at Manchester United and has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

He endured a miserable spell at Old Trafford, finding the net just four times in all competitions, and Louis van Gaal understandably passed up the opportunity to sign the 29-year-old on a permanent deal.

But Mourinho insists the Premier League has not seen the best of the hitman, who plundered over 140 goals during five seasons with Porto and Atletico Madrid, and has suggested he is the man to get Falcao firing again.

"If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it," Mourinho told DirecTV Sports.

"It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United."
