Jose Mourinho refuses to discuss Liverpool defeat but insists it was not his last game as Chelsea manager

Jose Mourinho refused to talk about the defeat to Liverpool after the game but did admit it was ‘another bad day’ for him as Chelsea manager.

The Blues took the lead inside five minutes through Ramires, but were pegged back through two Philippe Coutinho strikes before a late Christian Benteke goal.

Coutinho’s equaliser came 30 seconds after the scheduled amount of added time at the end of the first half, but Mourinho refused to comment on the decision to continue playing, through fear of further FA punishment.

"What do you think? You are not punished by the FA. I'm punished if I tell you," said a reticent Mourinho.

“It’s another bad day for me, but I cannot say what I think.

“I think decisions are very important, the goals come after decisions.

“I don’t want to say nothing about the game, I can’t.

"There are things that are out of our hands.

"Two minutes extra time (at the end of the first half), we concede the goal on two minutes 35 seconds.

"Then what happened in the second half everything is a consequence of some crucial moments.

“Moments that the stadium saw, the players more than see, the players felt it, from now, what happens is just a consequence."

Asked if he thought the game was his last as Chelsea boss, Mourinho said: "No."

The majority of the Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge sang Mourinho’s name throughout the game, appearing unified in their support of their manager.

“I thank them,” he added.

“But I would like to thank them, not by words but by getting results, which is what I have always done at this club but this season I being very difficult for different reasons, and I don’t want to go into those reasons.”
