Jose Mourinho says Chelsea head into Arsenal clash with a ‘different feeling’ after Champions League rout

Chelsea will head into their clash with Arsenal in a "better state of mind" after thrashing Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to Jose Mourinho.

The Blues have made a disastrous start to their Premier League title defence, losing three of their opening five games.

But Mourinho believes his side will now go into their meeting with the Gunners at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in confident mood having claimed a 4-0 victory in the Champions League in midweek.

"We come with a different feeling. We can wake up with a different state of mind," Mourinho told Chelsea TV.

"Saturday is a big match, it's a great rival. This result can put us in a better situation."

Willian, Oscar, Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas secured a comfortable win for Chelsea against Tel Aviv, and Mourinho admits anything other than a victory would have been a disaster for the club.

"We had too many bad results. We couldn't have this one on top of it," he said.

Radamel Falcao could return from a minor injury against the Gunners, but Willian (hamstring) joins Pedro (knock) in missing the clash, while Oscar (knee) is a doubt.
