Mourinho admits his Chelsea squad is still not perfect

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says his squad still isn't perfect despite a raft of summer signings.

The Blues bagged Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Didier Drogba in the summer and looked impressive against Real Sociedad in their 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

But, with the summer transfer window still open until Monday 1st September, the Special One says there is still room for improvement.

"Every squad could be better, there is no manager in the world who has the perfect squad," Mourinho said.

"There is no manager that says 'my squad is perfect and could not improve in certain positions'.

"The only thing I can say is that I very much like the squad. The club was fantastic because it gave me the three targets that I was asking for; a left-back, a midfielder and a striker - in fact two strikers because Didier also came back.

"We have the squad we want to have, we don't say it's perfect, we don't say it's the best. We just say we very much like our squad."
