Transfer news: Monaco eyeing shock deal for former Manchester United winger Nani

French champions Monaco have set their sights on landing former Manchester United winger Nani.

The 31-year-old is open to a move away from Valencia at the end of the season, after a tumultuous first campaign in La Liga.

Valencia have been largely disappointing, flirting with relegation for much of the season and this is likely to see many of their star names leave.

And, according to France Football, one of those could be Portugal international Nani, with Monaco ready to offer him a way out this summer.

The Euro 2016 winner spent eight years at United, winning four Premier League titles before moving on to Fenerbahce in 2015.

He has struggled to regain his top form ever since leaving Old Trafford, but Monaco's latest proposal will give the winger the chance to shine on Europe's top stage once again.
