Swansea 2-0 Newcastle: Garry Monk feels Swans dominated

Manager Garry Monk said Swansea "dominated the whole game from start to finish" after a 2-0 win over 10-man Newcastle.

Bafetimbi Gomis's seventh goal in his last eight Premier League games and Andre Ayew's header secured a win for the Swans in their first home game of the season as Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat was sent off shortly before half-time for fouling Jefferson Montero.

Swansea have now collected 20 points against Newcastle since being promoted to the Premier League, more than any other side over the same period.
