Santi Cazorla: Arsenal midfielder's comeback delayed by further surgery

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla's comeback has been delayed because he has had further ankle surgery.
The 32-year-old revealed the news on social media and said he had been having some pain in his tendon.
Doctors told the Spain international that he should be "satisfied" to walk again after contracting gangrene in his right ankle.
Cazorla last played for the Gunners in October 2016, two months before having his initial operation.
He was forced to have skin removed from his arm and grafted onto his leg after the infection left him with "eight centimetres missing" from his Achilles tendon.
A return to football in the new year had been predicted, but it is now unclear when he will make his comeback.
Manchester United's Juan Mata and Valencia's Gabriel Paulista are among those to have sent messages of support to Cazorla.

If anything Santi is underrated; take a look at Arsenal's record, before his long term injury, in the games when he played and when he didn't play.
Still hope he comes back, as he is one of the best players in the premier league, and gives the impression of being a decent bloke as well.
No disgrace in it
Being able to walk and enjoy the rest of your life is more important than possibly two more seasons at top flight football.
Hopefully a speedy recovery as he's great to watch.
Such a shame that this injury has prevented him from continuing to perform, especially when he was right at the top of his game.
As others have said, we may well have seen the last of his playing days.
Class act as a player, class act while recovering from the awful setbacks he has endured.
In my opinion one of the greatest technicians the PL has ever seen. A genuinely two footed player.
Arsenal have really struggled without him. I can only imagine the destruction Sanchez & Ozil might have wreaked with him feeding them from the deep.
Obviously a Spurs fan
