Nick Cushing: Manchester City Women manager signs new deal with club

Manchester City Women manager Nick Cushing has signed a new three-and-half-year contract with the club.
Earlier this week Cushing, 33, withdrew from the process to become the next England Women manager, despite making the shortlist to succeed Mark Sampson, who was sacked in September.
Cushing won the club's maiden WSL 1 title, the Continental Cup and Women's FA Cup in his three years in charge.
"My future is here," said Cushing, who was appointed in 2014.
Cushing led the club in their debut women's Champions League, reaching the semi-finals in April.
City are unbeaten at the top of the WSL 1 this season and into the Champions League quarter-finals.
"We can carry on trying to be successful and continue the great work that we've shown over the past four years to try and remain the dominant domestic team and keep pushing on in Europe," added the former City Academy coach.
