(Video) Anthony Martial goal: Super finish another message to Man Utd boss

Anthony Martial has been on the Man Utd bench for the opening two Premier League games this season, but if he continues like this he’ll have to be in the starting XI.

The Frenchman came on in the closing stages at the Liberty Stadium against Swansea City and immediately established himself as a fresh attacking threat for the visitors.

It wasn’t long before he got himself on the scoresheet either, as he latched on to Paul Pogba’s pass before advancing into the box and producing a calm and composed finish to beat Lukasz Fabianski.

Supporters were disappointed to see him start on the bench again this week, but in truth, it’s difficult to argue with Jose Mourinho’s selection given their performance against West Ham United last time out.

However, Martial will have bigger ambitions than being a super-sub for Man Utd, and he’ll undoubtedly hope that his fine form to start the new season will be rewarded with a place in the starting line-up before too long.
