(Video) Assist-king Mkhitaryan makes it look easy as £164m Man Utd pair see off Swansea

Man Utd swept Swansea City aside 4-0 on Saturday, with a late flurry of goals securing a comprehensive win for Jose Mourinho’s men.

Eric Bailly had given the visitors a first-half lead in a cagey contest, but United turned on the style in the final quarter of the game with three quick goals with no reply.

At the centre of their quality attacking play was Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as he put it on a plate for both Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba to put the Red Devils in complete control with two simple, yet perfectly executed assists, for the pair.

Pogba and Lukaku cost Man Utd a combined £164m, as noted by The Daily Mail, and while that’s obviously a lot of money, it won’t matter if they can lead United to success in the coming years.

Anthony Martial added a fourth after coming off the bench to impress again for a second consecutive week, and that’s now eight goals scored and none conceded in their opening two games of the Premier League campaign for Man Utd.

It’s far too early to start talking title credentials and what this side can achieve this season, but Mourinho and his men are undoubtedly making an early statement that they’re back and have the firepower to cause teams serious problems this year.
