Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere is being eyed up by West Ham, as the Hammers plan to launch a dramatic last-minute deadline day loan move for the Gunners man, according to the Sun.

Wilshere, 25, only has one year left on his current deal at the Emirates and is desperate to kick-star his Premier League career, with the Hammers ready to offer the hot-headed Gunners star a lifeline as per the Sun, however the England international will be made to sweat it out over his future on the final day of the transfer window.

As reported by the Sun, Slaven Bilic’s side are still in the race for Sporting Lisbon and Portugal midfielder William Carvalho, who is set to cost the Hammer £40M should the player swap Lisbon for London today report the Daily Star.

Carvalho has been linked with a move to Premier League many times during his career, with Hammers boss Bilic keen to add another midfielder to his squad, however as believed by the Sun, the east London side are unwilling to match the £40M evaluation Sporting have for the midfielder, with the West Ham board ready to turn their attentions to Wilshere should the Portuguese side fail to lower their asking price.

Should Wilshere manage to move to the Hammers before today’s 11pm transfer deadline, it’ll be interesting to see if the England star can keep himself out of trouble and get his topsy-turvy career back on track.
