Not one of his finest moments…

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is certainly regarded as one of the best in the business at the moment, and one imagines Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has done his homework on him.

Having failed to bring him in in the summer, Chelsea are reportedly set to go back in for Sandro with a £60million bid this January, so says the Daily Mail.

Still, Conte might want to think again after watching this clumsy own goal by Sandro, which put Juventus 1-0 down against Sporting Lisbon tonight.

Although they have since equalised through Miralem Pjanic, the rumoured Chelsea target certainly gave them work to do by giving his opponents the lead in Turin this evening.

£60m is a lot to spend on a left-back, especially when you already have the excellent Marcos Alonso flying down the left flank in your squad.

Should Conte really invest so much in Sandro this January, or would the money be better spent elsewhere?
