City are NOT happy with Arsenal…

Manchester City reportedly remain unhappy with Arsenal over how they handled the transfer deadline day saga involving Alexis Sanchez.

As a result, they are not prepared to give the Gunners as much as a penny for the Chilean as they wait to sign him on a free next summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

City have successfully raided Arsenal on a number of occasions in the past, sealing high-profile moves for the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy.

However, as noted by the Mirror, they failed with a £60million bid for Sanchez on the final day of the summer transfer window, and are clearly not used to getting their own way.

The club still hold a grudge against Arsenal, but look set to ultimately get the last laugh as they remain in the driving seat to land Sanchez on a free.

The report claims that City remain the 28-year-old’s preferred choice, despite previous links with other major European clubs, who can start negotiating with him from January onwards.

The Sun recently reported that Paris Saint-Germain remained keen on adding Sanchez to their stunning list of forward options next season.

Still, Arsenal look increasingly like they’ll have to face up to playing against Sanchez in the Premier League next season as he has his heart set on a reunion with Pep Guardiola and a frightening potential link-up with City’s current attacking stars Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane.
