He might not be the best with getting his words out and pronouncing player names properly all the time, but this is proper passion from former Arsenal ace Paul Merson.
The 49-year-old spent 15 years at Arsenal from youth level through to the senior squad, making over 300 league appearances for the north London giants and cementing himself as a club hero for most.
In turn, he will always have a close affinity with the club, and he delivered this passion-filled rant about the current situation at Arsenal, specifically with regards to the recent AGM and comments made by the board.
It’s fair to say that Merse wasn’t impressed with it and he felt for the supporters more than anything who continue to fork out to back the club but fail to see any real progress in terms of their league position as they seemingly face another battle for the top four this season.
At times it looked like he was really struggling to control his emotions, and as seen with the tweets below, the reaction was positive as he seemingly said a lot of what fans are currently thinking.
