Bomb squad is scrambled to Tottenham Hotspur's training ground after an 'unexploded WWII device' was found

Tottenham Hotspur's training ground was evacuated after a suspected World War II bomb was found at the training ground.
Specialist bomb disposal units were called to the ground at 3.06pm but had left the scene by 4.40pm after the unexploded device was removed.
Roads around the Hotspur Way facility in Enfield were closed and cordons were put in place as the experts handled the suspected bomb.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed 'a few residential homes were also evacuated as a precaution'.
A spokesman for Tottenham Hostpur said: 'An unidentified piece of metal was unearthed on the Training Centre site earlier this afternoon and, as a precaution, the Metropolitan Police cordoned off the surrounding area.
'The incident was cleared shortly after as the object was found to hold no danger.'
It is unknown whether there were first team players or any other teams at the facility.
Tottenham Hotspur will play Huddersfield away in the 12.30pm kickoff tomorrow at The John Smith's Stadium.
