Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admits he laughs when people compare the Premier League to others leagues in Europe.
Mourinho secured his third Premier League title on Sunday when Eden Hazard headed home against Crystal Palace to earn the Blues the points needed to secure the crown with three games remaining.
The Portuguese manager knows all about life in Europe’s top divisions having managed in both Spain and Italy, but the 52-year-old admits its extra special to win the league in England.

Mourinho told BT Sport: ‘I laugh when people compare a few numbers from a few different leagues and I can laugh because I have been in all of these leagues.
‘But when you see a 6-0 or a 7-0 in Italy or in Spain the people really know the difference between the top teams and the bottom teams.
‘In England there is a reality because it is difficult. We had some matches where everything went in the right direction and we won comfortably.
‘But most of the matches are not like this they’re 1-0, 2-1, 1-1, 0-0, because every team in this league wants to get points - it’s just so competitive.
‘To do what my boys did it is amazing. To lose on January 1, a heavy defeat in a London derby and to be on the same points as Manchester City and since then not one single defeat.
‘Then to go from the same number of points to 10, 13, 15 points clear is an art. We have a certain discipline, ethic and desire.
The Chelsea boss claimed he was 'proud' of his players for winning the 2014-15 Premier League trophy
‘So to win point after point and be named champions with three games to go is a great achievement.’
Despite being adored by the Chelsea fans the ‘Special One’ has admitted returning for a second spell at the club was a risk some managers may not have taken.
When asked about his return Mourinho said: ‘I knew I was not just getting another job, I was getting a job that was special to me. To be back at a club where I was happy before.

‘I was gambling a little. It was a bit of a risk. Chelsea supporters would never forget that we won the title in 2004 after 50 years and the expectations were high.
‘People expect me to back and to win it again and if things go wrong probably people say why? But I really wanted to return to England and to Chelsea and I am happy.
‘I’ll never forget how Stamford Bridge received me last year when we played the first match against Hull and now two years later we’re champions.’
