Anthony Martial's agent hits back at Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger after 'winger' talk: 'There are those who follow players and those who buy them'
- Arsene Wenger described Anthony Martial as 'more of a winger-type' player
- The 19-year has four goals in four games since joining Manchester United
- Agent Philippe Lamboley insists Martial is a 'true modern centre forward'
- He also aimed a dig at Wenger's activity in the summer transfer window
Anthony Martial's agent has denied suggestions from Arsene Wenger that the 19-year-old is 'more of a winger-type' after the Arsenal boss decided not to make a summer move for his client.
Wenger admitted an interest in the France international after Manchester United sealed a deal worth up to £58million to bring Martial from Monaco to Old Trafford on a four-year contract.
Martial has netted four goals in four games for Louis van Gaal's side but the earlier this month the Gunners boss insisted that the former Lyon starlet does not play as a traditional striker.

'We [have] known him since he was a kid,' Wenger said.
'But he's more of a winger-type. He's an exceptional talent I agree with you but I believe that he plays in positions where we have players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell who can play in the position.'
Martial's agent, Philippe Lamboley, has hit back at Wenger's claims, even aiming a dig at the Frenchman's lack of transfer activity in the summer window.
He told RMC: 'Anthony is a true modern centre forward.
'I don't agree with him because Anthony scored between 25 and 30 goals a season at Lyon's youth academy while playing as a centre forward and having never played as a winger.
'When he gets free and leaves the centre, it's actually to speed up and get away from the central defenders.

'If Arsene Wenger's analysis is made with the aim of justifying not having signed Anthony, then I accept his remarks and he's therefore a winger.
