After Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reopens his war of words with Jurgen Klopp, Sportsmail looks at his previous jibes towards the German
- Jose Mourinho has once again had a dig at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp
- He has claimed foreign Premier League managers have disrespected the FA Cup
- Liverpool are currently one point above United in the Premier League
Jose Mourinho relishes playing mind games with rival managers such as Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte but he appears to have saved the majority of his ammunition for Jurgen Klopp.
The duo have clashed throughout the campaign with the Manchester United boss choosing to send both direct and indirect digs towards the German.
His latest swipe has seen Mourinho claim foreign managers have failed to respect the history of the FA Cup by fielding weak sides in the 146-year-old competition.

The jibe is likely to be towards Klopp given the fact Liverpool are the only top six side who have been knocked out of the FA Cup ahead of this weekend's fixtures.
Here, we take a look at Mourinho's previous negative comments towards the former Borussia Dortmund chief...
Mourinho on Klopp escaping punishment
The Manchester United boss is not afraid of voicing his opinion about officials when he feels his side have been hard done by and the Portuguese has received touchline bans and fines due to his behaviour for doing so.
Mourinho has been keeping an eye on his rivals to make sure the Football Association are not treating him any differently to the likes of Wenger, Conte and Klopp.
He took particular exception with Klopp's touchline antics when the German roared in the face of fourth official Neil Swarbrick after Diego Costa missed a penalty against his Liverpool side on January 31.

Klopp managed to avoid punishment which clearly upset the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss.
'Yesterday, one manager was told by the fourth official "I love your emotion and because I love your emotion, no problem",' Mourinho said. 'I was told today to sit down or I have to go to the stands.
'You simply have to tell the truth. You will be doing a public service I think. Tell the truth. If that means you say Manchester United didn't play well in the first half, so be it. You know clearly that I am different. The rules for me are different. I am different in everything.'
But Mourinho has been sent to stands and received touchline bans for his behaviour
Mourinho hits back at Klopp after Paul Pogba fee criticism
The Manchester United manager's rivals were clearly jealous of the fact Mourinho was able to spend a world record £89million on Paul Pogba in the summer and decided to state their opinion on the move.
Wenger described the fee as 'absolutely crazy' while Klopp said 'the day that this is football, I'm not in a job anymore because it is about playing together'.
With his rivals rounding in on him, Mourinho went back on the attack by responding with the following: 'I know the discussion. I understand that, sometimes in football, things happen and the club breaks the record, but this is only possible at clubs like Man United.
'When I heard some of the comments and heard some of the managers criticising that, I don't think they ever have this problem because, to have this problem, you need to be at one of the top clubs in the world. So at Manchester United, it can happen.'

Mourinho applauds 'defensive' Liverpool after Anfield draw
Manchester United were criticised by pundits and rival fans for going to Anfield and parking the proverbial bus.
But Mourinho had a different take of the goalless draw in October by insisting the home side were actually the defensive team during the clash of the two north-west heavyweights.
Mourinho may have worded his claims as if it were a compliment to Klopp but he in fact would have said the statement in order to criticise Liverpool's approach.

He said after the draw: 'We didn't get the result we wanted. We wanted to win and just got a point so we were not 100 per cent successful.
'I think you are very unfair with Liverpool because Liverpool had a fantastic defensive performance.
'For the first time they played with two defensive midfielder players. For the first time they played with Henderson and Can together.
'For the first time they took a striker off to play another midfielder.
'You are very unfair with that because that 0-0 result was because two teams were really good defensively.'
The real statistics actually showed Liverpool had 65 per cent possession and had nine shots at goal compared to United's seven.
Mourinho laughs off Klopp's wind excuse
United reached their first cup final under Mourinho by beating Hull 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-final of the EFL Cup. They will face Southampton at Wembley, after they eliminated Liverpool 2-0 on aggregate.
Liverpool boss Klopp had cited how the wind at Anfield affected his team's play against the Saints, a reason he has used a number of times before. So when Mourinho was asked about his side's chances against Southampton, there was a hint of mischief in his reply.
'I don't think we are favourites against nobody,' he said. 'It doesn't matter against who or where, we are never favourites. Normally the stadium is windy and it's difficult.'
Klopp would not have been happy with Mourinho's indirect barb following their EFL Cup exit
Mourinho criticises Liverpool's mentality again
Again, Mourinho chose to label Klopp's side 'defensive' after the two sides could not be separated in their Premier League fixture at Old Trafford.
James Milner opened the scoring from the penalty spot following Pogba's handball before Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted United's leveller with six minutes to go.
Klopp said United only got back into the game by playing long balls up to the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Ibrahimovic but Mourinho one again fired a barb towards his Liverpool counterpart.

He said: 'I didn't think the game had super quality. We didn't reflect the qualities we have and Liverpool have - but it was very emotional, intense, aggressive. We fought until the last second.
'They were clever. They took their time, they know how to play football and control the emotions of the game. They knew they would be in trouble in the final few minutes.
'We were the team that attacked and Liverpool were the team that defended - let's see if the critics are fair. I enjoyed it but I will obviously be disappointed we didn't get the three points.'
