Anthony Martial and his girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz took selfies and enjoyed some time in the sea while enjoying their day on holiday in Mauritius last Friday.

Martial, 21, and Da Cruz, 26, went public with their relationship after getting together towards the end of last year and seem to be very much in love.

Manchester United forward Martial is enjoying a post-season rest after scoring eight goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils last term, in a campaign which saw him lift the Europa League trophy.

Martial was pictured looking relaxed while wearing sunglasses, black swim shorts and carrying a yellow bag, while French reality TV star Da Cruz donned a red swimsuit.

The pair laughed and joked while frolicking in the ocean and both hopped onto a boat before jumping in the water and going for a spot of snorkelling during an action-packed day.

Da Cruz uploaded a photograph of herself in her red outfit onto Instagram on Monday, telling her 1,300,000 followers that she had a '#lovelyday'.

Meanwhile, Martial's agent has insisted that his client will not be leaving United this summer.

The talented France international had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after struggling for regular first-team football under Jose Mourinho.

However, Philippe Lamboley - who represents Martial - claims there is 'no reason' to suggest a departure is imminent.   

He told Journal du Dimanche: 'Martial has two years left and there is no reason for him to leave Manchester today.

'If [executive vice-chairman] Ed Woodward tells me they want him to leave, things are different.

'But that is not what he told me during our last meeting.'
