Speaking following Belgium's 2-1 win over the Czech Republic, where he played the first 45 minutes, he told Het Laatste Nieuws: 'I know what's going on, but I let my agent (Mino Raiola) finish things.

'In the end I do take the decision. I want to improve and enhance myself.

'We are in talks with the club. I want to play in the Champions League, and try to win the Premier League a few times. I'll take the decision.'

The Belgium striker may have suggested he won't be playing under Ronald Koeman next season but he remains silent on who he will next ply his trade with.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, he added: 'My agent knows what's going to happen and I know as well.

'I'm staying calm and we have an agreement with the club as well. We stay calm and at least we have a direction where we want to go.

'I'm just going to rest for a few days and then just prepare for next season. I want to put the time in on my holiday to take everything to another level and be better than I was last year.'

One thing for sure is that he looks certain to quit Merseyside this summer, with Lukaku admitting 'it's not an option'.

He added: 'Staying at Everton? (very quiet). That's not really an option, I think.'
