De Gea made no secret of his desire to join the Spanish giants but has always insisted that he wouldn't push for a move away from Old Trafford.

It has been reported the 18-year-old has rejected three offers to extend his contract beyond 2018 when it is set to expire.

It has put Milan in a vulnerable position but Real may choose to wait another year before signing the goalkeeper on a free transfer.
