Manchester United will rival Chelsea for Robert Lewandowski should Bayern Munich agree to sell this summer.
The 28-year-old is understood to be unhappy at Bayern with his agent Maik Barthel claiming that the management and team-mates didn't support him enough towards the end of the season when he wanted to finish as top scorer and played through the pain barrier with an injured shoulder.
Lewandowski extended his contract last December to 2021 and the likelihood of Bayern selling the prolific Poland international has always been considered remote.

However, Barthel's comments have alerted clubs to enquire about the chances for this summer.
Real Madrid have long been recognised as favourites for the Poland international but it is understood he would be keen on testing himself in the Premier League and living in London does appeal.
Bayern have batted away huge bids for their players before with United offering £86million for Thomas Muller two years ago but much will depend on how strongly Lewandowski wants to push for a move.
With Monaco pricing 18-year-old Kylian Mbappe at £115m, a price of £120m would not be surprising should Bayern relent.
