Manchester United star Paul Pogba displays impressive nutmeg skills as he teaches friend a lesson in freestyle

Paul Pogba may cut the figure of a midfield powerhouse, but the Manchester United star showed he has the silky skills of a diminutive playmaker in his latest Instagram performance.

The £89million man may be adept at stunning long-range goals and passes, but he can still turn his hand to some close control when challenged to a quick round of freestyle football.

That is exactly what he did on Wednesday as he took an opponent, whose face was obscured with an emoji, completing two nutmegs in quick succession and thus proving he is up there with the best of them.

The 24-year-old provided fans with the short video in what represented the latest installment in his tour of Asia. Pogba has recently been seen playing football with young fans in Hong Kong as his promotional tour/holiday continues in the Far East.

But young fans are not the only people he has been spending time with as he also reunited with former Juventus team-mate Carlos Tevez, who is currently one of the stars of the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua.

Pogba has also dabbed on the Great Wall of China, visited the iconic Forbidden City and taken selfies with a host of Manchester United fans at official club events.

This summer will seem a lot more relaxed for the Frenchman than the previous year's as he dealt with the pressure of a nation at Euro 2016 before being flooded with speculation regarding his Juventus future.

He eventually returned to Manchester United in an £89m deal, but even that has come under the spotlight this week with Juventus now under investigation from FIFA over their role in the move.

The governing body opened disciplinary proceedings against the Italian champions over claims that they may have breached third-party ownership laws with Pogba's agent Mino Raiola.

Juventus are confident of being cleared and Raiola, who will take an extraordinary £40m cut from the world-record transfer, has always maintained the deal was conducted above board.
