Olivier Giroud is determined to prove himself as a 'loyal warrior' by fighting for his place at Arsenal despite interest from Everton and West Ham.
Alexandre Lacazette's impending £44million arrival from Lyon will provide Giroud with fresh competition this summer – but he still sees his future in north London.
The 30-year-old forward has a contract until 2020 and says he plans to 'carry on my good journey at Arsenal'.

Lyon have shown an interest in bringing Giroud back to France, while Everton and West Ham would offer options to stay in the Premier League.
Giroud, though, says a feeling of loyalty is just as important as his desire for titles and therefore his preference would be to stick with the Gunners.
'I won a few titles in my career, that is an important thing, but there is another thing which is important for me,' he told Arsenal's website.
'And that is that people [see you as a] loyal warrior on the pitch — that you always give your best for the team.
'And that's why I want to carry on my good journey at Arsenal and I always want to give my best.
'I would love to win another title, or maybe more until the end of my contract. The motivation is here, always doing your best to make your family proud.'
Arsenal have agreed a club-record fee of £44million for Lyson striker Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal plan to make Giroud available on the market with the arrival of international team-mate Lacazette and West Ham hope their London location will swing a transfer battle their way.
Everton are also interested, having spent £96m already this summer, if Giroud is available at the right price.
