Romelu Lukaku has continued his bromance with Paul Pogba with the Everton striker joining the Manchester United ace in Los Angeles ahead of their return to pre-season training.

Lukaku and Pogba linked up in the USA last summer to enjoy one another's company ahead of the latter's transfer to United from Juventus for a world-record fee, and the pair have shared their most recent jaunt with fans on social media.

Pogba has released a highlight reel of the trip to Southern California with Lukaku after the Frenchman had swapped touring China for the trend-setting global metropolis.

Having been spotted 12 months ago playing basketball in Miami, two of the Premier League's most coveted stars were back globetrotting during their extended break from club commitments owing to the World Cup qualifiers in June.

Pogba and Lukaku have hired out a luxury apartment in the hills and used it as their base for enjoying the hustle and bustle of LA, with the reel showcasing maverick dance moves amidst jaw-dropping extravagance.

Wearing a Kevin Durant basketball shirt, Pogba posted a short video to his Instagram account, with the caption: '4th of July mode #holidays @rlukaku9,' and the stylish duo kicked back in their private swimming pool before heading for a night out.

The scenes were clipped together to American hip-hop artist Blackbear's Califormula, but it is uncertain whether the two will ever be able to show their chemistry on the pitch.

Lukaku could leave Everton this summer having refused to sign a new contract at Goodison Park, but while he and Pogba are close friends, Chelsea remain favourites to secure his signature.

The Premier League champions have recouped over £60million in sales since the end of last season, but Everton's £100m valuation of Lukaku has yet to be met, leaving the door ajar for United to make a move.

Ronald Koeman is closing in on a stunning deal to bring Wayne Rooney back to Merseyside, but it is not believed a move for the United and England captain is in any way linked to Lukaku's future.

Pogba would be delighted to team up with his friend at Old Trafford this season, and having shown his moves on a neon-lit dance floor, the 24-year-old ensured he allocated some time to working out, showing off his impressive physique with a series of push ups.
