On another sweltering day in California, the Manchester United squad's spirits seemed to be as high as the mercury.
Jose Mourinho put his players through their paces at the UCLA facility on Thursday and it was short-sleeved order all round as temperatures touched 28C at times.
Romelu Lukaku, Juan Mata and the rest of the Red Devils side kept up their relentless pre-season work-rate despite the scorching conditions, and two famous faces popped by to watch proceedings.

United's new biggest fan - the actress Julia Roberts - stopped for a picture with Marouane Fellaini.
Roberts, who visited Old Trafford last season and also dropped in on training on Wednesday, was joined at UCLA by Lord of the Rings actor Dominic Monaghan.
The Hollywood star, who played Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck in the adaptation of JRR Tolkein's epic adventure, posed for pictures with Mourinho and Mata.
Involved in the session in LA was David de Gea, amid news that Real Madrid had re-entered the race for his signature.

United were back training at the UCLA facility despite the campus being evacuated due to a bomb scare at 10pm the previous night.
The emergency services swept into action on Wednesday night when a threat was made by phone to the campus police station while Mourinho and his players were several miles away in Beverley Hills.Ā
There is accommodation available at UCLA for United but they have chosen to stay at The Montage hotel.
Students from more than a dozen halls of residence took refuge in Drake Stadium where United have been conducting daily double training sessions before they were given the all-clear to return to their rooms two hours and 20 minutes later after police with sniffer dogs declared the area safe.Ā
