Arsenal are hoping to beat Manchester United to the signing of 16-year-old Feyenoord prospect Joshua Zirkzee.
The Holland U16 striker scored 33 goals in 27 games last season and Ajax have already failed in an attempt to lure him to their academy.
Feyenoord want to promote him to their U19s next season but he is considering a move to England with Arsenal and United keen to take him.
Arsenal are confident of beating Manchester United to the signing of Joshua Zirkzee (No 9)
In four appearances for the national U16 side he has managed to find the net once.
Manchester United have recently added a host of academy prospects to their ranks, but appear to have lost the race to Holland's latest starlet.
