AC Milan will have to take their summer spending beyond £250million if they want to sign striker Andrea Belotti, Torino manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has warned.
The striker, who had been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea earlier in the transfer window, has a €100million (£89.5m) release clause on his current deal.
Milan have already spent £160m on new recruits this summer, signing the likes of Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Conti in a bid to regain a place at Europe's top table.
Torino forward Andrea Belotti is a target for AC Milan following an impressive season in Serie A
But coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has warned that he will not be sold for anything less than £89.5m
The Italian giants are now looking to add Belotti, 23, to their ranks. But Torino have claimed the forward is not for sale unless someone meets his release clause.
'President (Urbano) Cairo has been clear: release clause or nothing,' Mihajlovic said.
'I'm glad he's with us. There is a great relationship, confidence and affection.
Belotti, who has been capped nine times by Italy, scored 26 league goals for Torino last year
'I'm very satisfied with the work we're doing and over the last three weeks I have seen hard work, generosity and desire to do well.'
Belotti came onto the radar of some of Europe's biggest teams on the back of an impressive campaign last season, in which he scored 26 league goals.
The Italy international is under contract with Torino until 2021 and the Serie A side are in no rush to let him leave.
