And that will be that. A comfortable victory for City against Tottenham.
And that will be that. Diaz follows up from close range and extends City's lead. Spurs well beaten here.
85min: Spurs finally coming forward with five minutes left to play. Sort of pointless now that the damage is done. Clinical stuff from City. Guardiola will be happy with how his side have handled this one.
81min: Quickly starting to fade out is this one. Lack of urgency from both sets of players except Kane hasn't given up just yet. He forces a strong save by Muric from range.
76min: Another water break. Fourteen minutes to play and City have this wrapped up.
Raheem Sterling makes it 2-0 City. He broke free after yet more poor Spurs defending and a clever through ball by Nasri. He got one-on-one with Vorm before almost scuffing it past the goalkeeper. What on earth was Vorm doing or was Sterling's finish so poor it caught Vorm out. A bizarre goal.
67min: Aguero hits the post for the second time. He takes on Vertonghen, beats him, but can't direct his left-footed effort beyond Vorm. Difficult to believe this is only 1-0 to City given their dominance tonight.
63min: Aguero immediately involved but can't get quite get on the end of Walker's cross. The striker appeared a little off the pace there. He then goes close yet again but can only watch as his effort rebounds off the Tottenham post.
58min: City subs. Mangala, Toure, Foden, Nasri and Aguero come on for Silva, Kompany, Fernandinho, De Bruyne and Jesus
55min: Nkoudou wins a free-kick after Kompany pushes him to the ground. The City captain receives a yellow card. Eriksen takes the free-kick outside the City box but his cross fails to beat the first man. Poor.
Tottenham change. Nkoudou replaces Dembele.
52min: De Bruyne charges into Dier. The England international reacts and it all gets a little tasty for a few seconds. Both players quickly calm down and off we go again.
49min: Danilo sprints down the left yet again and uses his pace to get beyond Trippier but he is unable to release the ball. Jesus then goes close but his effort is the wrong side of Vorm's left post.
47min: City pick up from where they left off. Jesus driving forward and winning a corner. The corner, taken short, breaks down.
One change for Tottenham. Vorm comes on for Lloris.
Quality first half from City. How they don't lead by more than one can only be explained by the players walking off the pitch in Nashville. A glorious chance for Jesus right before the break there. Spurs have been poor. Kane's one-on-one chance the closest they've got.
45+1min: Jesus misses a sitter. De Bruyne plays the ball across the six-yard area and how Jesus has missed from that distance is anyone's guess.
45min: Kane gets his first opening of the game. One-on-one with Ederson but he fires over. Brilliant run by Kane but Ederson deserves praise for coming out of his goal quickly to close the striker down.
44min: Danilo forces a superb by Lloris. The full back cuts inside on his right foot before bending a shot that is well saved by the goalkeeper. City corner then gets cut out. Tottenham's defence has been hanging by a thread for about 45 minutes. This really has been so easy.
42min: Jesus does well to control the ball in mid-air but just can't manage to get the ball down in time for him to get a clean shot on goal. Instead his scuffed effort is easily saved by Lloris.
38min: Jesus close to extending City's lead. Kyle Walker again gets down the right wing before crossing dangerously into the Spurs box. Jesus short by a a matter of feet. Spurs exposed so easily their by their former wing back.
37min: City nibbling away at the Tottenham defence. Pochettino's men have found it tough going in this first half. City have passed the ball with ease and look far sharper in attack.
Back underway after that drinks break... as you were
Pep Guardiola has absolutely slated Fernandinho during this drinks break. Arms waving, eyes bulging...
30min: Half an hour down and the players are having a 'heat break'. Very hot weather in Nashville.
29min: Kane goes down under the challenge of Fernandinho. Free-kick on the edge of the City box for Tottenham. Eriksen takes right-footed from 35 yards out and produces a superb by goalkeeper Ederson. The ball was heading for the top right corner.
25min: Alli and Kompany square up briefly. Walker calms down Alli. Kompany appeared to go through the back of Alli. Silly reaction from Alli. No cards awarded.
21min: Danilo misses yet another glorious opportunity. De Bruyne instrumental in the move again. He played the ball off to Danilo who had got himself into a superb position but his right-footed effort is tame and easily saved by Lloris.
18min: Alli plays the ball forward for a rare Spurs attack but Eriksen can't latch on to the ball as it rolls harmlessly out for a City throw. Just about sums up Tottenham's first half. Nowhere near on it.
16min: City on the attack yet again. Walker bombs forward before playing Sterling through but the England international fires wide of the Tottenham goal. Spurs really haven't got a grip on this at all.
14min: That early goal has given City the confidence to go forward. Gabriel Jesus in particular is enjoying getting as far forward as possible. But it should be 2-0. Danilo, who was played in by Jesus, fires off from close range. Then Jesus forces a point blank save by Lloris. Wonderful one-touch passes before his strike.
Dembele gives away a free-kick on the edge of the Spurs box after bring down Silva. De Bruyne takes right-footed and Stones heads past Lloris. De Bruyne's free-kick took a deflection off Eriksen before Stones guides the ball into the bottom corner.
8min: Danilo gets forward well but delivers a poor ball into the ball that none of the City attack can even begin to think about attacking.
6min: Sterling looking lively in attack for City. He's linking well with De Bruyne, who is aiming to break down the right side. But Spurs are also breaking forward quickly when they regain possession. End-to-end stuff this so far.
4min: Kyle Walker gets a few boos as he controls the ball. The Americans well drilled on nailing former players it would seem.
1min: Fast start by both sides. Alli comes close to taking the lead but is denied by Ederson after some slack defending by City. Kane very lively too.
The formations beamed onto the big screens an absolute state and not for the first time on this tour. At least Ederson wasn't at left back as they had him in Houston...
Five minutes until kick-off and the pitch is bathed in sunshine. Expect a water break at some point.
JACK GAUGHAN: Pep Guardiola’s true vision for Manchester City has never been relayed in public. Not at the lavish ceremony before hundreds of supporters last summer, his proper unveiling weeks later, or countless press conferences since.
The suits are worn smarter and smiles wider for Guardiola’s mere presence at City, his appointment seen as a triumph by the hierarchy, but they have remained coy of his intentions. Now, amid one of the largest overhauls in football history, they are unavoidable.
Privately they were laid bare in the months preceding his arrival, however, as Guardiola and sporting director, his old friend from Barcelona Txiki Begiristain, started devising plans for domestic and continental domination.
