The start of the new Premier League season is less than two weeks away, but Dele Alli was in no mood to recharge his batteries ahead of the big kick-off on Sunday night.

The England and Tottenham star was spotted leaving London nightclub Libertine at 5.20am on Monday morning having enjoyed himself alongside his stunning lingerie model girlfriend Ruby Mae.

Alli is gearing up for the imminent start of the new Premier League campaign, but he was more focused on throwing some shapes on the dance floor on Sunday night, as the 21-year-old enjoyed time away from the training ground.

The former MK Dons midfielder was chaperoned by a security guard as he left the venue in the early hours, alongside former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger.

Alli was part of a sizeable male entourage spotted leaving the amphitheatre in Fitzrovia, west London, and the midfielder's night of partying proved to be quite a show of physical stamina.

The Spurs ace had just jetted in from Nashville, Tennessee, where earlier on Sunday he had played in his side's 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at the International Champions Cup. 

Tottenham manager Maurcio Pochettino is said to be keen on adding extra competition for Alli in the No 10 role by signing Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, but Alli would not appear to be fazed by the speculation.

Wearing a red and black flannel shirt, the England international was all smiles as he made his exit, on the morning that Sportsmail revealed that Spurs would not be breaking their wage structure to sign Barkley.

The Toffees are believed to be holding out for £35million for their midfielder despite him entering the final 12 months of his contract, and Spurs owner Daniel Levy is reluctant to meet Barkley's current wage demands.

The Everton star is wanting parity with Tottenham's top earners, but Levy is unlikely to offer him the same £100,000-a-week wages as Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.

Alli will return to the training ground on Tuesday as the club prepare for their final game of pre-season against Serie A champions Juventus on Saturday at Wembley.
