Watford have pulled off a coup with the £11.2million signing of Brazilian forward Richarlison on a five-year deal.
Chelsea had also made enquiries for the exciting 20-year-old from Fluminense while Ajax had agreed personal terms on a four-year contract.
Watford are confident they can gain a work permit for Richarlison and avoid having to send him out on loan to sister club Udinese, with a medical scheduled for Tuesday.

Fluminense president Pedro Abad said: 'It is official. We've sold Richarlison to Watford for €12.5m. We keep 10 per cent of the rights.' It is understood that Fluminense have a 10 per cent sell-on fee inserted in the deal.
Richarlison is a pacy forward who can play on the wing and cuts inside, scoring 10 goals in 21 league games this season.
Chelsea looked to have stolen a march on Ajax earlier this month but now Watford have stepped in with the Brazil U20 international destined for Vicarage Road.
