Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has come under further scrutiny after launching an on-demand television channel which shows graphic hunting footage.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn led the criticism of Kroenke's My Outdoor TV app, which for £7.60 a month offers 'the Netflix of the hunting world'. 

The BBC's Have I Got News For You programme waded into the debate on Twitter before Arsenal fans roundly criticised Kroenke.

The official HIGNFY Twitter account tweeted an edited image of the Arsenal shirt showing the cannon on the Gunners badge firing at an upside Puma logo.


'Arsenal make change to 2017/18 kit after owner Stan Kroenke launches hunting bloodsports channel,' read the caption.

The MyOutdoorTV official website says the channel provides 'TV shows and product demonstrations to hunters, shooting sports enthusiasts, anglers, campers, boaters, and hikers' and describes itself as the 'worldwide leader in outdoor TV'.

The channel, MyOutdoor TV, had featured programmes involving big game being hunted 

One shot from the TV channel's Twitter account depicts hunters standing over a bear

It is already available to viewers in the United States, where it is received in more than 40million households.

Daniel Wernham wrote: 'As a die hard Arsenal fan and animal lover I'm absolutely sickened by Stan Kroenke's hunting tv channel and recent comments he made.'

'40 years a supporter @Arsenal I am disgusted by Kroenke hunting TV. I'm not coming back till he's gone #KroenkeOut,' added Andy Pay.

Others have refused to buy replica shirts from the club while the TV channel remains live.

Alison said the channel brought 'shame' on the club.

'@Arsenal as a Season Ticket holder I'd like to know how strongly I object to Kroenke, hunting and the resulting shame inflicted on Arsenal,' she wrote.
