Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah turned down a new deal at Chelsea because he wanted to feel he 'belongs somewhere'.
Chalobah, 22, was sent on loan six times by Chelsea and spent the 2012-13 season at Watford.
After joining them last month for £6million, he hopes increased game time will lead to an England call-up.

'I was offered a new contract but I decided to leave and hopefully get opportunities here,' he said.
'I'd been there for such a long time and I was finding it hard to get in the team. They usually say the first loan is the worst loan but for me it was my best loan.
'I wanted to be part of it again and I wanted to feel like I belong somewhere.'

On being linked to an England call-up from Gareth Southgate, he said: 'It's flattering. I'm at Watford and have to focus on that and see where it takes me.
'Gareth has made it clear if you are doing well at clubs you have an opportunity.
'Conversations with Gareth has always been based on performance and ways to improve and the bits to work on. I think for everyone who is in the England set-up it's exciting.'
