- Yohan Cabaye has selected Mesut Ozil as the 'strongest' player in England
- The Germany international is a key player on the field for Arsene Wenger
- Ozil is into the last year of his contract and could leave for free next summer
- But Cabaye believes his passing and style of play set him apart from the others
Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye has revealed that he believes Mesut Ozil is the best player in the Premier League.
Ozil, who is at the centre of a long-running contract saga at the Emirates, has been the subject of much talk off the field but remains a key player for Arsene Wenger's side.
And Cabaye believes the Germany International to be the 'strongest' player in the country, with his style and flair in passing the key assets which set him apart from everyone else.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is the best player in the Premier League, according to Yohan Cabaye
The Crystal Palace midfielder believes Ozil's ability to pick out a pass sets him apart
'The strongest player in England, I think? Mesut Ozil,' Cabaye told France Football. 'He is really, very strong.
'You get the impression that he does not care, that he is nonchalant, but at one point he will put a pass that nobody has seen.
'He always knows everything before everyone else. That’s what is fabulous about him.'
Ozil is at the centre of a long-running transfer saga at the Emirates but is key on the field
He, along with Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, could leave for free next summer
Wenger will hope Ozil continues the form shown last season after the German contributed eight goals and 10 assists during a fairly uninspiring Premier League campaign for the club.
But the Gunners have started this season with a little more vigour, wrestling back the initiative from Leicester on the opening day to claim a breathtaking 4-3 victory at the Emirates.
Wenger's men travel to Stoke this weekend while Cabaye's Palace hope to bounce back from defeat by Huddersfield as they travel north to Liverpool.
But boss Arsene Wenger will hope the German shows the same form as he did last season
