The pair took to the lanes as Martial was filmed nonchalantly knocking down all the pins to claim a strike before sticking his thumbs up to the camera.
Pires fared a little worse, however, knocking down only six, but it didn't dampen the couple's spirit as they had cause to celebrate.
The Frenchman doubled his league tally for the campaign in South Wales on Saturday, adding to his goal against West Ham on the opening weekend.
He looks set to feature heavily in Jose Mourinho's plans for the season as an option on the wing along with Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard in what could be a coming-of-age campaign for the 21-year-old.
