BREAKING: Barcelona reach agreement for Dembele

Barcelona have finally reached an agreement for Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele.

The Catalan giants will not confirm the deal until the paperwork has been officially signed but the move has been agreed in principle. 

After weeks of negotiations Dortmund have accepted an offer which we believe is in the region of £110m.

Talks have concluded between the clubs and the 20-year-old is expected to pen a five-year deal at the Nou Camp.

Hull set to sign Toral from Arsenal

Hull City are poised to sign Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral on a permanent deal for £3m.

The Tigers moved quickly to replace Sam Clucas after he left the club to join Premier League side Swansea in a £16.5m switch. 

The 22-year-old is an academy product of Arsenal but has spent the last three seasons out on loan. 

He has had loan spells with Brentford, Birmingham, Granada and Rangers. 

Hull are expected to officially announce the signing shortly.

Ulloa signs new Leicester deal

Leonardo Ulloa has signed a new contract which will keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2019. 

The Argentinian striker had lodged a transfer request last January after a bust up with then manager Claudio Ranieri. 

But now is happy to stay at the club as he feels relationships have been rebuilt since Craig Shakespeare took hold of the reins at Leicester. 

After signing his new deal he said: 'I am so happy because I have lived massive moments with thus club and it makes me happy to stay here and fight to help the team and increase the club's history.

'That is so important and I am so happy for this two-year contract. Now I have to fight to play. I will train and give my best. I appreciate it a lot to stay here and I am so happy here now. 

'For that, I want to continue in this in the same way by working hard and working my best for the club.'

Liverpool brace themselves for another Coutinho transfer plea

Liverpool are braced for Philippe Coutinho going public in his desire to leave Anfield.

The Brazilian is considering whether to speak out about his wish to move to Barcelona with the Spanish club willing to offer £138million for him.

Liverpool maintain he is not for sale and have no wish to enter into negotiations with Barcelona.

Liverpool club secretary Danny Stanway and Ian Rush are the club's representatives are in Monaco today ahead of the Champions League draw where Barcelona were expected to plea their case.

The Spanish side have made offers for Ousmane Dembele at Dortmund and opened discussions with Angel di Maria's camp from Paris St Germain.

Speculation that Liverpool have lined up Julian Draxler of PSG was stirred by Sky Germany announcing Draxler's agent, Roger Wittman was present at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Wittmann also looks after Roberto Firmino and Loris Karius plus Max Meyer at Schalke who has also been linked with Liverpool over the past year.

Napoli identify Rulli as ideal Reina replacement

Napoli are looking to sign former Manchester City goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli from Real Sociedad as a potential replacement for Pepe Reina who is wanted by Paris St Germain.

Argentine Rulli joined Sociedad from City on a permanent deal in 2017 and City discussed bringing him back as back-up to Ederson in June.

However, the 25-year-old wants to play as a first choice to push his claims for a World Cup place.

Napoli, meanwhile, remain in talks with City over a deal for Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko. The italians want the City midfielder on an initial loan with view to a permanent deal.

Brighton in talks to sign £1m-rated player

Brighton and Hove Albion are in discussions over a £1million deal for Viktor Gyokeres at Brommapojkarna.

Manager Chris Hughton has also considered a late move for Everton's Oumar Niasse who is talking to Fenerbahce.

Gyokeres, a 19-year-old striker and Sweden U19 international may go on loan or into Brighton's U23 squad initially.

Tottenham are not planning to pursue a late move for Lazio's unsettled forward Keita Balde Diao.

The 22-year-old Senegal international has fallen out with coaching staff and is keen to leave Rome.

Juventus and Inter Milan have both attempted to sign him but fallen short of the asking price while West Ham also made efforts to sign him.

Tottenham have rejected an approach from Hellas Verona for Georges-Kevin N'Koudou. Verona are also one of the clubs showing interest in Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic but he may be out of their price range.

Tottenham will allow Vincent Janssen to leave this window. Sportsmail revealed interest from WEest bromwich Albion and Stoke City while Borussia Monchengladbach were also keen on the Holland international.

Ross Barkley, Manchester City's Jadon Sancho, Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon and Serge Aurier remain potential targets as the window draws to a close while Juan Foyth is expected to sign from Estudiantes and talks are ongoing with Celta Vigo for Pape Cheikh Diop.

Swansea closing in on re-signing Bony

Swansea are near to completing a deal for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony. 

The Ivory Coast international left Swansea to join the Etihad side in January 2015 for a fee of £28m. 

But the 28-year-old has been reduced to limited first-team opportunities and was shipped out on loan to Stoke last season. 

He enjoyed the best spell of his career with the Swans, scoring 26 goals in 54 games. 

Paul Clement's side had a £10m bid rejected earlier this month but are now closing in a £13m deal for the striker.

Manchester United midfielder Matty Willock is going on loan to FC Utrecht for the season.

The 21-year-old broke into the first team for Jose Mourinho's squad against West Brom in April and against Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

According to reports Las Palmas have completed the signing of Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper.

The La Liga side had been looking for a replacement for Kevin-Prince Boateng after he left the club to join Eintracht Frankfurt.

Samper spent last season on loan at Granada and is now expected to sign for Las Palmas for another year-long stint.

Championship side Hull City are close to completing a loan deal for Watford striker Isaac Success. 

Watford signed the promising 21-year-old for a then club-record fee of £12.5m from Granada last summer.

Inter Milan continue to be busy in the market and have entered talks with Manchester City for defender Eliaquim Mangala. 

According to Sky Sports, the Italian side have enquired about the possibility of taking the 26-year-old on loan for the season. 

Mangala joined City from Porto in a £32m switch three years ago. 

But the Frenchman failed to make an impact at the Etihad and spent last season on loan with La Liga side Valencia. 

Pep Guardiola is willing to listen to offers for Mangala and would prefer to replace him with West Brom centre back Jonny Evans.

The 26-year-old was granted a work permit and will move to the Hornets from Benfica after falling out of favour.

Leeds United confirm £1.5m signing Jay-Roy Grot from NEC Nijmegen

Leeds United have announced the signing of forward Jay-Roy Grot from NEC Nijmegen. 

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Elland Road following his £1.5m transfer.

He will wear the No.11 shirt and will boost Thomas Christiansen's attacking force after Chris Wood moved to Burnley this week in a £15m switch.

Grot is eligible to play straight away and could make his Leeds debut in Saturday’s fixture against Nottingham Forest.

SIMON JONES: Newcastle forward Siem de Jong is poised to rejoin Ajax while teammate Emmanuel Riviere is talking over a move to Metz.

Reading had agreed to sign De Jong for £2million on a three-year deal but the 28-year-old has turned down the Championship side and agreed to take a pay cut at Ajax where he spent seven years until joining Newcastle in 2014.

Riviere, 27, signed from Monaco in the summer of 2014, and was told to find a new club this summer by manager Rafa Benitez. He has opened negotiations with French side Metz over a two-year deal.

Arsene Wenger confirms Thomas Lemar deal 'dead'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed his pursuit of Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar is over. 

The Gunners saw three offers for Lemar rejected this summer and now Wenger has admitted he has given up trying to sign the France international.

He said:'It's dead, because Monaco have closed the door definitely and because they are still on cases like Mbappe and Fabinho.

'They've already lost Mendy, Silva and Bakayoko. Monaco are at a stage where they've closed the door. We have the numbers and quality to deal with that.’

Arsene Wenger has not ruled out selling Shkodran Mustafi

Inter Milan and Juventus are in a tug of war for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi. 

Inter have already launched a shock move for the 25-year-old with an initial loan offer with a view to a permanent £25m deal. 

Mustafi only signed for the Gunners last year in a £35m move from Valencia but hasn't enjoyed the best of times since his arrival. 

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger held his cards very closely to his chest when asked about selling Mustafi but certainly didn't rule it out. 

He said: 'I don't expect... it's difficult for me to speak about individual cases. We are now in the final seven days of the market. It's always difficult to predict, you have to make sharp decisions.’

Arsene Wenger hints at Alexis Sanchez stay

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed Alexis Sanchez will make a return to the Arsenal side for their Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday.

Sanchez's Arsenal exit has been a constant rumour throughout this summer transfer window but Wenger has said the speculation has not disturbed the forward. 

Wenger also suggested the Chile international will be staying at the club this season and that there is a chance of him renewing his Emirates deal which expires next summer.

He said:'I want Alexis to stay at the club and be one of the big players of this future. We want to build the team around him. 

'Personally, I want him to commit to the club and for him to be one of the carriers of our team.

'He's not too much disturbed by the noises. Players of his level are used to it now. I'm sure he's not too bothered by that. He's always focused, very happy. 

'Just because he goes into the last year of his contract doesn't mean we don't have the chance to extend it.'

Kylian Mbappe is nearing a £138m move to the Parc des Princes from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco, according to sources in France. 

L'Equipe reports there is a deal in place for his transfer but Monaco are holding out until one of PSG's trio of Julian Draxler, Lucas Moura or Javier Pastore is included as part of the deal. 

The France international is one of the most coveted young forwards after impressing last season and was rumoured to be on the move to Real Madrid, but PSG have taken significant steps in securing his signature in recent days.

Manchester City eyeing £36m-rated Espanyol defender Aaron Martin

Pep Guardiola is looking to bolster his defence with Espanyol left back Aaron Martin. 

Sport are reporting Manchester City are in negotiations with the La Liga side for the 20-year-old after tabling a £16m bid. 

Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the defender who signed a contract extension with Espanyol until 2022 in January and has a buyout clause of £36m.

Stoke are pushing to complete £8.5m deal for defender Bjorn Engels

SIMON JONES: Stoke have held further talks with Club Brugge over an £8.5million deal for centre-back Bjorn Engels.

Mark Hughes has already signed Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea and Bruno Martins Indi from Porto but with Ryan Shawcross entering the last year of his contract he is keen to add a third centre-back this summer.

Stoke have also enquired about Kevin Wimmer at Tottenham with West Brom and Crystal Palace already offering £15m for the Austrian.
