Borussia Dortmund sign Tottenham target Jeremy Toljan and hand right-back a five-year contract
- Jeremy Toljan was part of the side that won the Under-21 Euros in the summer
- Toljan set up the winning goal during the final against Spain for Germany
- The 23-year-old previously represented Hoffenheim before making the move
Borussia Dortmund have signed Hoffenheim's highly-rated right-back Jeremy Toljan, who Tottenham eyed as a potential addition.
The 23-year-old, a member of Germany's victorious European Under-21 Championship team this summer, has signed a five-year contract.
'He is a player with huge potential,' Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said on the club's website.

Jeremy can slot in on both the left and right of defence,' he added.
'He was one of the cornerstones of the side that secured the title for Germany at the U21 European Championship this summer.'
Toljan set up the winning goal at said competition as Germany beat Spain 1-0 in the final and also provided two other assists.
The right-back was a target for Premier League side Tottenham Hostpur over the summer
