Brighton's loan move for Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has broken down late on deadline day.
The Seagulls, who have seen several deals fall through during the summer transfer window, had hoped to add Janssen to their squad but the forward turned down a chance to move to the south coast.
He will now battle with Harry Kane and new signing Fernando Llorente for a place in the Spurs first team.

The Seagulls have also signed goalkeeper Tim Krul on a season-long loan deal from Newcastle.
The 29-year-old will challenge Mathew Ryan and Niki Maenpaa for the gloves at the Amex.
Hughton added: 'I know Tim from my time at Newcastle and he is an excellent professional that has a vast amount of experience at both club and international level.
'He's played an extensive amount of games in the Premier League, as well as playing in the Europa League and his experience will also help benefit the other keepers in the squad.'
