Leicester 1-2 Chelsea, Premier League RESULT: Plus Everton 0-3 Tottenham and the rest of the 3pm action

...for the wrong reasons though.

Into four added minutes at the King Power Stadium, Leicester are giving this a go but Chelsea are still keen to play on the counter attack.

Five games but as time ticks towards the 90 minutes we only have one match that still has points up for grabs.

Leicester have been putting Chelsea under pressure but the champions are looking organised at the back as they look to see this game out with five minutes left.

A couple of notable changes at the King Power Stadium. There will be no debut for Danny Drinkwater at his former club as Willian, Eden Hazard and debutant Davide Zappacosta come on for the Blues as Victor Moses, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro make way.

Too late for a fightback? Not quite but the Seagulls should still see the game out here despite James Morrison pulling a goal back for the Baggies with 13 minutes left.

The legendary commentator recently announced he will be hanging up (putting down?) the microphone after 50 years service at the end of the season.

'Another very attractive Watford goal here as Daryl Janmaat, who’d only been on the field three or four minutes after replacing the injured Kiko Feminia lets fly from 25 yards and fires into the bottom corner.

'Southampton have struggled going forward all match and I really cannot see any way back into the match. Manolo Gabbiadini, who has been hopelessly isolated with no service whatsoever, has just been taken off for Shane Long.

'As it stands, the Saints are looking at a ninth blank goals column in their last 12 Premier League games.'

Incredible. Southampton looked like they were getting back into this game... only for Watford to double their lead with their second shot on target.

It's almost a carbon copy of the first as Daryl Janmaat fizzes home a long range drive from around 25 yards into the bottom corner. Fraser Forster perhaps could have done better.

Gross is stamping his authority all over this game. Scoring the first two goals, he now turns provider as he crosses for Tomer Hemed to steer home a header.

Thibaut Courtois brings down Jamie Vardy and the striker dusts himself down to step up, convert the resulting penalty and bring the Foxes back into the game.

Nearly the ultimate humiliation for Everton... Moussa Sissoko goes close to scoring.

The midfielder hasn't scored for Tottenham since his £30million move over a year ago but he is still profligate in front of goal as he somehow heads over from three yards.

Everton are really struggling here and have Jordan Pickford to thank that they are not getting embarrassed by Spurs. Kane and Eriksen combine before a shot on goal is well stopped by the former Sunderland stopper.

This won't please the locals much, not only are Leicester 2-0 down it's former Foxes midfielder N'Golo Kante applying the damage with a long range shot that flies pat Kasper Schmeichel.

You wait four games for a Brighton Premier League goal, then two come along in a matter of minutes as Pascal Gross grabs his second of the game.

Everton also made two changes, Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez departing in favour of Tom Davies and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Spurs don't look all that fussed. Harry Kane feeds Ben Davies before getting into the box and converting the full-back's cross.

Leicester City are among those making changes, two in fact, as Demarai Gray and Andy King come on for Marc Albrighton and Islam Slimani.

Finally Brighton have their Premier League goal as on the cusp of half-time Pascal Gross converts following a Solly March cross.

'As you can imagine, that Doucoure song being sung very loudly by the 3,000 or so travelling Watford fans as he’s just given them a lead out of nothing with a lovely strike.

'A clean right-footed volley from 20 yards after the ball sat up nicely for him and Fraser Forster couldn’t pick out the trajectory of it through a crowded penalty box.'

Spurs are purring on Merseyside and double their lead. Jordan Pickford does well to save from Ben Davies but Christian Eriksen is on hand to tuck home the leftovers.

Leicester went very close to opening the scoring but now they are behind as Alvaro Morata heads home a Cesar Azpilicueta cross to give the champions a deserved lead.

Not bad considering this is our first shot of the game. Southampton clear a throw in but only as far as Abdoulaye Doucoure who absolutely hammers home from 30 yards to break the deadlock. Quality is taking precedence over quantity as far as chances are concerned at St Mary's.

Is it a fluke or is this an absolute wonder strike from Harry Kane? Either way it's given Spurs a deserved lead at Goodison Park and it brings up his 100th goal for the club after a sensational effort from the right of the penalty box loops over a helpless Jordan Pickford.

It's not all Chelsea at the King Power Stadium as the hosts go close. It's that old combination of Riyad Mahrez playing in Jamie Vardy but the England striker drags his snapshot just wide.

Brighton think they finally have that maiden Premier League goal, only for Shane Duffy's strike from close range to be ruled offside. Seagulls still on top on the south coast.

'Watford have made the brighter start here at St Mary’s without really threatening Fraser Forster’s goal.

'We’ve seen plenty of endeavour from Nathaniel Chalobah, who’s really caught the eye in midfield, and a couple of attempted flicks from Richarlison, who is playing on the left-side.

'The travelling fans also have a very catchy chant for Abdoulaye Doucoure to the tune of Earth, Wind and Fire’s ‘September’. It ends with the line ‘he never gives the ball away.’

And for those not quite familiar with the song - here it is....

It was once good enough for Diego Costa, and it so nearly benefits Morata. Cesc Fabregas scoops a majestic through ball for the striker but the Spaniard fails to connect with a volley. 

So is Wayne Rooney in the mood? He looks it! The striker plays a fabulous pass for Cuco Martina to chase, but the full-backs cross for Sandro Ramirez is poked wide first time by the striker. Toffees on top at Goodison Park.

Good build up play from Chelsea as Alvaro Morata and Victor Moses combine to feed Marcos Alonso, whose cross towards the near post for Cesc Fabregas ends up being turned behind for a corner.

No early goals in the Premier League and that includes at the AMEX Stadium where Brighton are still looking to score their first Premier League goal.

The hosts are on top though in the early stages against West Bromwich Albion.

It's been a troubled week off the pitch for Wayne Rooney, but can the Everton striker leave his off the pitch problems behind him against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon?

ROB DRAPER: Manchester City put Liverpool to the sword at the Etihad Stadium as they beat 10-man Liverpool 5-0 in a resounding display.

Sergio Aguero latched on to a through ball from Kevin De Bruyne to put the hosts ahead, and any hopes Jurgen Klopp's side had of getting back into the contest were dashed when Sadio Mane was sent off.

Gabriel Jesus made it two before the break and added a third after. Substitute Leroy Sane added a double of his own to seal the win.

'Good afternoon from St Mary’s and a fixture that, in my opinion, could really go either way. Southampton and Watford both come here unbeaten and with five points on the board.

'They also both come here off the back of goalless draws - Southampton up at Huddersfield and Watford at home to Brighton - but I’m hoping the intervening fortnight means there won’t be such ennui today.

'Changes for Southampton today as Wesley Hoedt, their £15million summer signing from Lazio, comes in for Maya Yoshida at centre-half for his debut. No sign of Virgil van Dijk, whom manager Mauricio Pellegrino says is short of match fitness.

'Mario Lemina starts on the bench, with Sofiane Boufal coming in. James Ward-Prowse also returns to the starting XI.

'Three changes also for the Hornets from their stalemate with Brighton. Younes Kaboul, Jose Holebas and Andre Carrillo come in for Miguel Britos, suspended for that horrendous challenge against Brighton, Sebastian Prodl and Nordin Amrabat.'

Both sides are looking to bounce back from 0-0 draws and the hosts bring in Wesley Hoedt, James Ward-Prowse and Sofiane Boufal as Maya Yoshida, Dusan tadic and Mario Lemina make way.

Marco Silva introduces Younes Kaboul, Jose Holebas and Andre Carrillo to the Watford line-up as Nordin Amrabat, Sebastian Prodl and the suspended Miguel Britos make way.

There is one change to the Chelsea team that comfortably saw off Everton 2-0 as Tiemoue Bakayoko makes his full debut for the Blues by replacing Willian, but Danny Drinkwater is only on the bench against his former club.

Leicester City also make one alteration as Islam Slimani replaces Shinji Okazaki from the side defeated 2-0 at Manchester United.

Everton make three alterations to the team that lost 2-0 at Chelsea as Cuco Martina, Morgan Schneiderlin and Davy Klaassen come into the team at the expense of Phil Jagielka, Mason Holgate and Tom Davies.

Tottenham stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Burnley last time out and make two changes and look to go three at the back as new signing Davison Sanchez comes into the team along with Moussa Sissoko. Son Heung-min and Mousa Dembele make way.

No changes for Brighton as they stick to the same XI that battled to a 0-0 draw at Watford, but there are two changes for West Bromwich Albion.

Chris Brunt and James Morrison drop out the side that drew 1-1 against Stoke as Jonny Evans makes his first appearance of the season while Grzegorz Krychowiak is handed his Baggies debut in midfield.
