FIRST FOOTBALL MEMORY - Playing football at home in Cork with close friends at every chance we got. I was born and brought up in Cork until I signed for the Sunderland academy shortly after my 16th birthday.

BEST PLAYER I'VE PLAYED WITH - John Terry and Seamus Coleman. For all he's achieved in the game, John has worked and trained hard every day at Villa, and never gives the ball away. Seamus was a fantastic team-mate of mine for the Republic Under 21s and we want him back from injury to wear the Ireland shirt again.

TOUGHEST OPPONENT - I've played Everton a few times and Ross Barkley has always been very good. When I was at Barnsley, we led Everton 2-0 in the League Cup until Barkley came on and they ended up winning 5-3.

FAVOURITE FOOTBALLING MOMENT - Winning two trophies at Wembley. Barnsley beat Millwall 3-1 in the League One play-off final in 2016 and we also won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final against Oxford the same season.

SPORTING HERO - Roy Keane. He's from Cork like me so he was mine growing up. He later became my manager at Sunderland and Ipswich.

TOUGHEST AWAY GROUND - Accrington on a wet and cold Tuesday night. They knocked Barnsley out of the FA Cup there - on a Saturday!

FIRST ALBUM YOU BOUGHT - (What's The Story) Morning Glory? by Oasis

KARAOKE SONG - Ain't No Stopping Us Now by McFadden and Whitehead.

BEST-DRESSED TEAM-MATE - Alan Hutton wears some nice gear.

DREAM DINNER-PARTY GUESTS - Sir Alex Ferguson and Roy Keane, you wouldn't need any more! Roy was Sunderland's manager when I first went over. He was a big influence and always very good to me. He'd always chat to me and check everything was OK.

IF I WASN'T A FOOTBALLER, I'D BE... Not sure, but something to do with sport.
