Manchester United stars Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian join old team-mate Morgan Schneiderlin and WAGs for game of bowling following emphatic victory over Everton

Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian were reunited with former team-mate Morgan Schneiderlin on Sunday night, just hours after Manchester United's win over Everton.

Schneiderlin, who left Old Trafford to join the Toffees in a £24million deal in January, played the full game as Ronald Koeman's men suffered a fourth straight defeat.

But instead of returning to Merseyside with the rest of the squad, the former Southampton midfielder stuck around for a night out with the United duo.

Martial was joined by girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz, while Darmian brought along wife Francesca. Schneiderlin's wife Camille, who he married last summer, was also in attendance as they visited All Star Lanes in Manchester.

The group, who were joined by another friend for a game of ten-pin bowling, were pictured outside the popular venue in Deansgate late on Sunday night.

Goal hero Martial was seen posing for a photo with three fans following his late penalty in Sunday's 4-0 victory, while his girlfriend, Da Cruz, brought smiles to the faces of her friends as they chatted outside Great Northern Warehouse. 

Darmian and Schneiderlin were also spotted sharing a hug after becoming close during their 18 months together at Old Trafford.

Martial and Darmian had plenty to celebrate after United's latest win sent them level on points with rivals Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Antonio Valencia opened the scoring with a stunning strike in the fourth minute before a flurry of late goals ensured a third home win of the season for Jose Mourinho's in-form side.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's neat finish made it 2-0 in the 83rd minute before Romelu Lukaku netted against the club he left in a £75million deal in July.

Martial, who only replaced Mkhitaryan in the 88th minute, was on the scoresheet soon after as Schneiderlin's handball gave United a penalty in added time.

Mourinho, meanwhile, has dismissed the suggestion that Paul Pogba faces 12 weeks out as 'completely nonsense' as his hamstring injury is still being assessed.

The 24-year-old led United out as captain for the first time on Tuesday night, but only lasted 19 minutes of the Champions League opener against Basle due to a hamstring complaint.

Pogba left Old Trafford on crutches and has undergone scans, but Mourinho insists no definitive prognosis has been made on the influential midfielder's absence amid talk of a three-month lay-off.

'I don't know if it is 12 weeks or 12 days,' the United boss said after Sunday's 4-0 defeat of Everton.

'Honestly, so any comment, any rumour is totally wrong, because we do not know if it is 12 weeks or 12 days.

'The player was diagnosed initially after the match because of the conditions of the muscle and the bleeding.

'The decision was one more week to wait and to see really clearly in the scans the dimension of the injury.

'And nobody in the club spoke about 12 days or 12 weeks. Not at all.

'It's a muscular injury in the hamstring, but we have a normal procedure and wait a few more days, so it's completely nonsense information.'
