Wenger was able to rest a number of key players for their long trip to Belarus on Thursday night.

Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were among those senior names to sit out the Europa League fixture and all are expected to be back to face Brighton.

Alexandre Lacazette is another name who is likely to return after his brace against West Brom in Arsenal's last Premier League tie.

Fans will also have been happy to see Jack Wilshere play so well during their Europa League tie. The midfielder now looks set for a return to Arsenal's first team squad after his loan move last season.

The Gunners currently sit seventh in the Premier League table but have seen their performances improve in September.

Their 0-0 draw with Chelsea seemed to be a catalyst of change for Wenger's side but they still remain six points off top of the table.
