Manchester City beat Chelsea in a hard-fought match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

The Belgium international struck a 67th-minute goal that saw the visitors pick up all three points in West London.

CHELSEA

THIBAUT COURTOIS: Almost caught out when Jesus chased down Rudiger's back pass in 12th minute. Saved well from Fernandinho and Silva, little chance with De Bruyne's goal. 7

ANTONIO RUDIGER: Dodgy back pass from short goal-kick almost let in Jesus early on. Strong in the tackle and a brillaint headed goalline clearance from Jesus' volley late on 7

ANDREAS CHRISTIENSEN: Calm and composed beyond his years, made important interceptions and brought the ball out of defence well. Headed good chance over in closing stages. 7

GARY CAHILL: Never looked entirely comfortable against the pace of City's frontmen, and the least solid of Chelsea's back three. 6

CESAR AZPILICUETA: Denied twice when his stinging shots in each half were saved by Ederson. Preferred to Moses as right wing-back, and justified Conte's decision. 7

N'GOLO KANTE: Like a perpetual motion machine, gliding across the pitch effortlessly, covering gaps, denying City space. A joy to watch. 7.5

TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO: Hurt early on by an Otamendi challenge, and gave the ball away more than once. Not his most commanding performance. 6.5

CESC FABREGAS: Struggled to pick out Morata with his forward passes before the striker limped off, and spent most of the game on the backfoot against De Bruyne and Co. 6.5

MARCO ALONSO: His trademark forward runs down the left were restricted by having to contain Sterling and lucky not to be booked for a cynical foul on the winger. 6.5

EDEN HAZARD: Started off supporting Morata in attack, and then moved up to play an hour as a false nine. Replaced by Pedro as he tired after 75 minutes. 7

ALVARO MORATA: Early chance from Azpilicueta cross but headed over the bar. Huge blow for Chelsea when he limped off with a hamstring strain after 35 minutes. 6

MANCHESTER CITY:

EDERSON: Looks better and better with every game, good feet and came out of his area to chest the ball down. Saved well from Azpilicueta twice. 8.5 

KYLE WALKER: One good run forward early on, and did a steady job without creating too much. Solid and quick defensively too, inportant clearance in last minute. 7

JOHN STONES: Hurt in a heavy fall in 20th minute but recovered his composure and looks like he is growing in confidence. Hardly put a foot wrong. 7.5

NICOLAS OTAMENDI: Headed wastefully wide from a De Bruyne corner after 31 minutes, but made good defensive headers and blocks. Booked late on. 7

FABIAN DELPH: Continued at left-back after doing well in midweek, and never looked rattled. Also good going forward, moving into midfield at times. 7

FERNANDINHO: Forced a brilliant save from Courtois with a thundering header from De Bruyne's corner shortly before half-time. Booked. 7

RAHEEM STERLING: Started brightly, keeping Alonso occupied, but failed to make the most of good crossing opportunities from the right and left after switching wings before half-time 7

KEVIN DE BRUYNE:At the heart of City's best moves from the start, and scored a superb goal after linking with Jesus. Continues to haunt Chelsea as one that got away. 9

DAVID SILVA: Always involved, always dangerous, and one left-footed snapshot was well saved before half-time. Subbed by namesake Bernardo after 75 mins. 8.5

LEROY SANE: Switched wings with Sterling before half-time and had limited chances to run at the defence or shoot at goal. Replaced by Gundogan on 82 mins 7

JESUS: Mixed bag. Always lively and almost embarrassed Courtois early on. Goal-bound volley headed off the line by Rudiger in final minutes. 8
