Former Chelsea captain John Terry has become the latest player to reminisce about the club's Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich back in 2012.

Terry followed in Didier Drogba's footsteps by tapping into his artistic side to recall the events of the famous night in Munich at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea beat Bayern 4-3 on penalties at the home of the Bundesliga giants in the Champions League final after the teams could not be separated after extra time.

And Terry, who missed the European final due to suspension, drew a picture of one of Chelsea's most instrumental players from the final back in May 2012, Petr Cech.

The 35-year-old shot-stopper saved a penalty from Arjen Robben during extra time, with the scoreline at 1-1.

However, his heroics didn't stop there as he also saved a spot-kick from Ivica Olic during the penalty shootout before Drogba stepped up to score the winner.

On Instagram, Terry paid tribute to the now Arsenal goalkeeper by drawing a picture of Cech diving to his left between the posts, which is how he saved both the penalties from Robben and Olic.

Terry has currently got some time on his hands and is enjoying a short break from his Aston Villa duties due to the upcoming international fixtures.

The 36-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Villa narrowly beat Bolton 1-0 in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Steve Bruce's side, who sit seventh in the table, face Wolves away following the international break.
