The French champions are planning to offer Sanchez a £10million 'welcome' bonus to convince him to sign with them in January, according to the Daily Express.

The Ligue 1 outfit attempted to acquire the former Barcelona man's services in the summer, despite offering him £275,000-a-week and a large up-front payment.

Sanchez has cut an isolated figure at times this season but has continued to give his all on the pitch, contributing a goal and two assists in seven appearances.

Arsene Wenger chose to keep hold of his star man rather than cash in and risk a supporter backlash by selling him to Premier League rivals City at the end of the summer window.
