Davide Zappacosta wants to ensure he is the latest Italian to make his mark at Stamford Bridge by leading Chelsea to honours.
The wing back arrived from Torino on transfer deadline day and has settled in well, scoring his first goal against Qarabag in the Champions League in the Blues' 6-0 victory last month.
But he wants to play a part in leading his team to trophies just like the club's string of successful players and managers, including current boss Antonio Conte, have done before him.

Antonio Conte has been an instant hit as Chelsea's latest Italian manager, winning the league
Claudio Ranieri took over as Chelsea boss in 2012 and went on to win the Champions League
'I've noticed there is this long tradition [of Italian players at Chelsea],' Zappacosta said in Chelsea's matchday programme ahead of Saturday's game with Manchester City.
'I just hope that, like my predecessors from Italy, I can make my mark at Chelsea and win some trophies. That would be a dream come true for me.'
He added: 'I am convinced I am well suited to the style of football in England, probably even more so than Italian football.

Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is one of two Italian's to win Chelsea's player of the year award
'There is more space because the intensity is higher and the game is much quicker, so I can look to exploit that.'
The combination of Conte, Roberto Di Matteo, Carlo Ancelotti and Gianluca Vialli have won 11 trophies between them while in charge of the Blues, while Claudio Ranieri proved vital in the early years of the Roman Abromovich era.
On the playing front both Carlo Cudicini and Gianfranco Zola have won Chelsea's player of the year award, while the likes of Fabio Borini, Pierluigi Casiraghi and Sam Dalla Bona have all turned out in Chelsea blue.
