  • The Holland international has been linked with a move to the Turkish Superlig
  • Blind started the first three league games this season, but has not done so since

Manchester United defender Daley Blind is wanted by Turkish Superlig outfit Fenerbahce.

According to Talksport, the Istanbul club are one of several clubs plotting a January move for the Holland international, who has found himself out on the fringes of Jose Mourinho's side in the past few weeks.

Blind started the season as one of the first names on the teamsheet, starting each of United's first three league games as they beat West Ham, Swansea and Leicester.

However the 27-year-old has seen just one minute of Premier League action since then, with Ashley Young preferred in the left-back slot by the Portuguese boss.

He has started both Champions League matches to date, as well as the 4-1 win over Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup.

However, should his absence from league fixtures continue, Blind may be forced to seek out other option come the winter window, and Fenerbahce are one such club with the financial capability to convince the full-back to make the switch.

Blind is currently on international duty with Holland, as they face two crucial World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Sweden.

Dick Advocaat's side need to win both matches to have any hope of reaching the play-offs, currently four points adrift of France in first and three behind Sweden in second.

They face Belarus, bottom of Group A, on Saturday before their potential winner-takes-all clash with Sweden in Amsterdam on Tuesday.
